Piecing Together the Prophets: My Thoughts So Far

Here we are in the latter days, when Satan has done his best to corrupt our knowledge of the Bible, and has inserted many false teachings via translation and doctrinal errors. One of these, for example, is that the Jews in Israel are not the “real” Jews, because they don’t match up with the prophesied “perfected” Jews who inherit the land promised by God to Abraham’s descendants through Jacob (a.k.a. Israel). It’s easy to receive such a false teaching if

1) a reader hasn’t affirmed in faith that every word of the two Testaments (in their original languages) is true by the giving of the Word and protection from error through the Holy Spirit, and
2) the same reader has not, in this faith, asked the Holy Spirit for understanding;
3) the reader has not actually read the Bible, or
4) the reader is a new believer, or was never a member of a community that encouraged daily study, and has had no mentoring.

Biblical literacy is at an all time low in the Age of Grace. Few pastors teach the whole Bible, and few Christians study it. Receiving Jesus as one’s Savior is only the first step on the Christian journey; discipline and study are necessary to advance in understanding.

I didn’t read my Bible enough while I was a new believer or a busy mom raising a family. But after 47 years of faith and suffering and having nothing but God to get me through some very hard times, I do know my Bible pretty well by now, and I’d like to share what kind of picture is forming in my head as I study the prophecies about the “latter days,” the final years of the Age of Grace before Jesus returns to earth in the Second Coming.

To clear up that little heretical detail above, I know that Israel has been gathered back to the Promised Land while they are yet in unbelief (Romans 11:19-27), and that He will show Himself mighty for them during the Ezekiel 38 war, when they have no protectors (meaning America is not able to rescue them for whatever reason).

That "whatever reason" is, I believe, the Rapture (see Greek harpazo, Latin rapiemur) If the White House and Congress are filled with believers, supported by the believing voters who put them there, along with the believing military who are operating the satellites and space weapons that ensure peace, and if we all suddenly disappear when Jesus comes for us like a thief in the night and steals us away—

Israel will be alone. 

If America is no longer strong, what will Russia's leader do when he contemplates the certainty of war re-erupting in the Middle East over the control of Israel's natural gas pipelines? Russia has a relationship now with Turkey and Iran, and Iran will certainly move to take control of Israel's pipelines. So Russia will have no choice but to return to Syria with all military power.

What will Europe do when they contemplate the squabbling of the Muslim countries that will almost certainly cut off gas supplies to them? He who controls the gas controls the world. When the Russian, Turkish, Iranian, Sudanese, and Libyan armies are destroyed by God's earthquake and fiery hail and their own weapons, and all who watch are terrified that perhaps God really is real and really did defend Israel, and that now Israel may unleash their own deadly weapons on their enemies (will Israel nuke Damascus?), then Europe will send an envoy, their chosen leader, to reaffirm the Abraham Accords with Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Kuwait, and the Palestinians. This man will suggest that Israel be allowed to build their third Temple. He will graciously accept the position of world leader, and the rest of the world, who just had world peace in their grasp only to see it slip away, will give a huge sigh of relief.

While the Temple is being built, the new leader will be building up New Babylon (my guess: Abu Dhabi or maybe Neom) which will become the new world center of trade, while Israel completes the smart cities of the West Bank (probably part of the Palestinian peace deal). AI and the Metaverse will be integrated, and many people will take a prototype Neuralink "mark" which will modulate neurotransmitters to create a false kind of "peace" so that Israelis and Arabs can live together without fighting. Worship of a melded Islamic/Christian/Jewish God may be integrated in this network, possibly with aliens mixed in. Many will seek some kind of god or gods to explain the Rapture and the destruction of the Ezekiel 38 coalition, while others who heard but hadn’t believed the Gospel will realize that the Bible foretold all of this, and put their faith in Jesus.

The Polytechnic University of Lausanne ( EPFL ) is developing a new technological platform for new generation and highly technological infrastructures, dedicated to underground cities. It is called the ' Deep City Method ' and will soon find application in Switzerland, in four pilot cities: Geneva, Zurich, Lausanne and Bern . A subsequent intervention will also be carried out in China, in the city of Suzhou.

Smart cities will be built around the world, underground refuges from the coming solar micronova ("rocks and hills, cover us!") and approaching asteroids, against which the weak geomagnetic field can no longer provide any kind of defense. At least one space rock in particular will pose a deadly threat, and I think they'll try to nuke it, and end up with three threats instead of one.

The deadly fiery hail of fragments will arrive first and land on the smart cities in the West Bank; the western hills of Jordan (Moab and Edom) will be destroyed, including the servers that house AI. Those who took the prototype AI mark will be suddenly shifted back to reality, with the associated nausea and vomiting of neurotransmitters suddenly unplugged. Disoriented people will vomit everywhere.

Meanwhile, when the Christians disappear, and the Holy Spirit with them, two ancient witnesses (probably Enoch and Elijah, who never died) will appear from Heaven and testify in Jerusalem for three and a half years against the sin, idolatry, and ecumenism and against a Temple that God did not command. The two witnesses will control the weather and impose drought, as Elijah did once before, and they cannot be attacked or removed. Everyone will hate them but can do nothing about them. Cameras will be on them 24/7, broadcasting the fruitless efforts to remove them.

It will take about 3 years to complete the Temple, and Kohanic & Levitical priests will begin to offer the daily sacrifices, when the world leader shows up, having decided that all this religious seeking is messy and liable to lead to more wars. So, coming to the conclusion that he was destined to be the savior of humankind, he mandates worship of himself and imposes a new AI solution. The beast from the Abyss finally kills the two witnesses, who lie dead in the street for three and a half days, while everyone who missed secular Christmas celebrates this new holiday by gift-giving.

But to everyone's horror, the witnesses are resurrected and ascend to Heaven, observed by the entire world (now we know what StarLink is for—simultaneous transmission worldwide). And in his rage, the Antichrist demands that those who do not take his new improved Mark be enslaved or executed. As if this is the signal (maybe it is), another army (probably China) enters Israel from the hills of Jordan, who has betrayed their Abraham Accord peace treaty. The Palestinians immediately turn on their Jewish neighbors, plunder them, and give them up for slavery or execution.

This is the point at which Jesus warned the Jews of Jerusalem to flee to the mountains, when they saw “the abomination that causes desolation” on the Third Temple. The remnant will flee, pursued by the Antichrist, who releases water from some kind of dam to try and stop them, but God opens up a crack in the ground to swallow the water, and leads them to a hiding place He has prepared for them.

There are still two more space rocks to fall on earth, one in the sea and one on land (Wormwood), which causes all the surface water to become bitter. Standing water will grow a deadly red algae, turning water into blood. The tsunamis and related disasters from the asteroid that hits the sea may be what overwhelms and destroys the pride of the Antichrist, New Babylon and its Metaverse. Captains of cargo vessels full of luxury goods watch New Babylon fall, and no doubt sink themselves in subsequent tsunamis and storms.

Thus begins the second half of the Tribulation, with severe geologic and climactic disasters and “the sword, famine, and plague” as frequently prophesied.

Meanwhile, those survivors around the world who are able, disappear into their prepared bunkers and underground cities, or even to space stations or moon colonies, in preparation for the micronova to burn away the surface of one side of the earth. But not even these refuges will be able to save them from the wrath of God. For one thing, food will be extremely scarce. When they run out of food, they will become cannibals. 

Even though the disasters will become extreme, there will always be a Gospel witness on earth. When the two witnesses are gone, and communications systems break down so that the 144,000 can no longer reach people with the Gospel message, God will send three angels to fly around the world announcing the Good News, that faith in Christ will save them from judgment and everlasting torment, so that no one will be able to say they never heard it.

As I wrote about in a previous article, the geomagnetic field will drop completely, the earth will do a quarter tilt, causing massive earthquakes and devastating tsunamis to wash over continents, and the new north and south poles will probably be New Guinea and Peru, while Antarctica and Greenland return to the equator. Many coastlines will be drowned, and North America will be divided, with rivers turning into large seas. There will be instant glaciation around the new poles, flash-freezing any life left on their surfaces. 

Those surviving to the end of the Tribulation will observe the effects of the solar micronova, a blast of the sun’s surface plasma in every direction, which causes the sun to turn black. There will be darkness for about three days while the world waits in despair for the solar fire to hit the earth.

This will be God’s last chance held out to mankind—believe and be saved! In heaven, Jesus will gather His Bride and we will mount our white horses and follow Him to earth, where Jesus will cut short the Wrath for the sake of the elect: the sun will not go out forever, and life on earth will not end. Jesus will arrive just as the Antichrist is mounting a full-scale war of all nations’ armies on the Middle East survivors, those holed up in their bunkers with their remaining food and water supplies—now the scarcest commodities on earth.

The Tribulation ends with the defeat of Antichrist, who is thrown into the fiery pit that has opened up below Jerusalem. Satan is bound for a thousand years. All Tribulation saints and all righteous descendants of Israel are resurrected. All Tribulation survivors are judged—those who are enemies of Israel are thrown into the pit with the Antichrist. The remainder are the remnants from which the nations will grow again, as God ordained.

The Bride of Christ (the Raptured saints) and the Tribulation saints will become Jesus’ government, to rule and reign with Him. The scattered mortal descendants of the twelve tribes of Israel will return from their places of slavery and hiding to join the rescued remnant of Jerusalem and take up their inheritance alongside their resurrected forebears, and thus God’s promise to Abraham will be fulfilled.

Lifespans will lengthen again to pre-Flood standards, as solar radiation is returned to very low levels. Israel will be located north of the equator in a subtropical climate, enabling agricultural production year round. Without Satan and his minions to torment and tempt, sin will be present but minor among those who are still in mortal bodies, because Adam’s sin continues in the flesh of his descendants, and there will be peace, prosperity, joy in the kingdom, and for those who are in their imperishable bodies, no more sorrow or pain. 

At the end of this idyllic Sabbath millennium, the Lord will release Satan for a last gasp. Satan will immediately deceive many who were born during the Kingdom and have never yielded their will to Jesus. These Kingdom rebels will mount an attack on the saints, but it won’t lead to defeat of anything but themselves, and this will bring about the end of the old earth and old heaven.

There will be a final resurrection and judgment of all those who perished without accepting Jesus’ sacrifice for their sins. If their names are found written in the book of Life, they will receive their new imperishable bodies and join the saints, but if not, they will receive imperishable bodies that will burn in torment for eternity.

Then the new earth and new heaven will replace the old, and the New Jerusalem will come down, God’s heavenly throne room, where God the Father will dwell with His children forever. Revelation describes this city as a cube (three dimensions) that is moving through space (4th dimension) enduring outside of time (5th dimension). And since that will be a much different dimension from the one I am in currently, I can’t envision it, but I know it will be an eternity filled with wonder and discovery and joy and love unending.
